Our firm was established in 1995 as R G Eckermann & Co when Richard Eckermann began his firm after being in practice since 1979 initially as a partner in SW Tilmouth & Co and then Zacharoyannis Luppino & Eckermann at Mile End.
Having incorporated the practice of Ann Josephson Lawyers in late 2013 our firm has steadily grown, and we are now located in two offices allowing greater accessibility to our clients.
At this time the practice was incorporated as SE Lawyers Pty Ltd.
Our firm consists of four highly dedicated lawyers and support staff to provide the best service for you.
Our staff are friendly and qualified to ensure that you are dealt with promptly and efficiently.
Together with our aim to provide our clients with efficient services we collectively have specialised knowledge in a diverse range of areas. We therefore are able to provide you with expert advice and can fulfil various legal needs all in the one location.
We strive to develop a strong rapport with our clients to maintain a professional and successful relationship.
We maintain that the best kind of advertising is by word of mouth and find that the majority of our clients come from referral from existing clients.
We endeavour to provide practical and sensible advice as well as providing a friendly and comfortable atmosphere for our clients.
We have recently consolidated into one easy access office on Diagonal Road in Warradale with ample parking available.
Our LAWYERS
Richard Eckermann
Richard has been in practice since 1979 and started R G Eckermann & Co in 1995. Over the years he has become experienced in a wide range of fields with particular emphasis on personal injury law, work cover, commercial law, Wills & Estates and general litigation.
He has also assisted clients in criminal cases on a regular basis over the years. He has been involved in significant appeal cases in the Full Court of the Supreme Court and the High Court.
Stephanie Shevlin
Stephanie has been in practice since joining R G Eckermann & Co in 1996.
She works predominantly in family law (inclusive of matrimonial and De Facto relationships, child issues and property settlements) and personal injury law (inclusive of motor vehicle claims, public liability claims and medical negligence).
Kate Andriske
Kate graduated from University of Adelaide with a Bachelor of Laws in 2006. After working for the Federal Government she joined the practice of Ann Josephson Lawyers and has since worked primarily in Family Law.
Kate has experience in all aspects of Family Law including matrimonial and de facto/same sex relationships, as well as dealing with complex children’s issues cases.
Kate is also an active member of the Law Society Family Law Committee.
Support Staff
Sue McGurgan
Sue worked for Ann Josephson Lawyers from the commencement of Ann’s business in 2006 at Warradale, until Ann retired and the business became SE Lawyers.
Sue is now personal assistant to Stephanie Shevlin at our Warradale office. Sue is very committed and enjoys being able to assist clients whenever possible.
Alana Kunowicz
Alana began a traineeship with Ann Josephson Lawyers in 2009 in Business/Legal Administration to become a legal secretary, this position then continued with SE Lawyers.
Alana works part time as Kate Andriske’s personal assistant as well as undertaking general secretarial duties.
